I. Symposium Background
Engineering Science and Technology Academic Symposium on Methane Control and Emission Reduction: International Symposium for the 7th Anniversary of “Collaborative Innovation Organization for Safe, Intelligent and Precise Coal Mining” is to be held in Hefei, Anhui province, China, from August 7th to 9th, 2024. This symposium is organized by the Energy and Mining Engineering Division of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the Administrative Center for China’s Agenda 21, and China Coal Society, and undertaken by Anhui University of Science and Technology. This symposium aims to timely summarize new theories, new technologies, new achievements, and new experiences in the fields of methane control and emission reduction and precise coal mining at home and abroad, and explore newly emerging problems, new ideas, new methods, and new applications. Now, the relevant matters of the symposium are hereby notified as follows.

V. Call for Papers
1. The papers should be related to the theme or topics of the symposium, concise and to the point, with prominent focus and reasonable structure. The paper length should be controlled at about 6,000 words. Please use Word typesetting for contributions (Annex 1).
2. The papers submitted have not been published in national academic conferences or public media.
3. Only English papers are accepted. Please provide the author's Chinese information and contact information at the same time.
4. Submission method: After the official website of the symposium is completed, please log on to the website to submit articles online. Please register for the symposium before submitting, and log in to the system to submit the paper after completion.
5. The papers submitted will be recommended to well-known journals such as Engineering and International Journal of Coal Science & Technology, and published after passing the review system of the corresponding journals.
VI. Conference costs
The board and lodging shall be arranged by the organizing committee, and the expenses shall be borne by attendees.
